Basic Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Foreman, Lead Maintenance Mechanic, Lead Maintenance & Custodial Mechanic or Maintenance Manager, perform skilled and unskilled labor as it relates to maintenance, construction and repair of District buildings, grounds, and related equipment. Works along with others and independently on all types of work or projects a Maintenance Mechanic-A would perform (except on electrical work of over 288 volts and/or over single phase) as directed. Monitors the work of contractors, employees in lower classifications and coordinates work between trades in completing District Facilities Projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Six (6) years’ experience with demonstrated competency and experience in three (3) specialized job functions. Note: the experience in the specialized job functions may be gained concurrently.
