Basic Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced SAP Applications Architect to manage solution architecture analysis, research, design, and the development of new functionalities and integrations within the SAP ecosystem. This role requires close collaboration with all business units and functional areas. A successful candidate will play a key role in an organization-wide business transformation project, contributing to the design and implementation of a new SAP RISE solution.

Provides design recommendations based on the District’s long-term IT Strategy. Leads and oversees the planning, integration, policy development, quality, and standard development for the District’s IT application architecture. Provides solutions for enterprise level application and custom integration including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features. Recommends, communicates, and develops application strategy with all levels of the organization. Develops programming and development standards and procedures and recommends new technologies and methods.

Minimum Qualifications

=       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related

           field, 

AND

=       Six( 6) years of progressively more responsible IT

          experience, including two (2) years of related

          architecture experience (arhitecture time may be

          concurrent): 

OR

=       Ten (10) years progressively more responsible IT

           experience, including two (2) years of related

           architecture experience (arhitecture time may be

           concurrent):

 

Preferred Qualifications

=       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

=       Understanding of the Utilities industry

=       Strong technical skills in SAP technologies &

           platforms

=       Extensive knowledge of SAP customer

          management, financial processing, and EAM

=       Experience with SAP S4(Ideally including SAP RISE

          migration)

=       Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities

=       Project management experience
